ÉGLISE NOTRE-DAME-DE-L'ASSOMPTION DE BEAUNE
Church built in 1518, with a bell tower and long tufa masonry spire, and a special trunk inside.
Built in 1518, the church's distinctive feature is a bell tower whose slender spire is made entirely of tufa masonry, a feature increasingly common in the upper Maurienne valley. At the entrance to the nave, on the right-hand side, you'll find a trunk that accepts donations in cash, but also offerings in kind, such as cereals. The interior of the church is adorned with imperative divine sentences painted on the walls.
