ÉGLISE SAINT-PIERRE
Church benefiting from a canvas of the Ascension painted by Bastiani in 1683 and which is located in Séez, mountain village of Tarentaise.
Located in Séez, a mountain village in Tarentaise composed of several hamlets, on the road to the Col du Petit-Saint-Bernard and the La Rosière station, Saint-Pierre Church is one of the Baroque Paths® of the Facim Foundation. In other words, this remarkable religious building is a treasure to be discovered, especially for its glory beam and the main altarpiece, which the Mauriennais artist Étienne Fodéré carved around 1686. This altarpiece is harmonious and richly decorated. One of the most notable is a painting of Ascension painted by Bastiani in 1683. These are not the only remarkable ornaments!
