LA GRANGE D'AUGUSTE
Pleasant address in Val-Cenis offering Savoyard specialities, a cheese salad and good pancakes.
You will have to get lost in the small lanes of the old Lanslevillard to hear the soul of this country and discover the Grange d'Auguste, an old renovated stable that once belonged to the former owner. Caroline officiates in the hall; she is charming. The place has a lot of charm, between the rustic stone walls and the light and feminine decoration. While watching the ski slopes, one eats Savoyard specialities such as a tartiflette, a fondue with ceps, a hot box or a plate of local charcuterie or a salad with three Savoyard cheeses. Note: home-made ice-creams which accompany very good pancakes. You can even make them into pancake parties. A pleasant address!
