REFUGE DE L'ARPONT

The Refuge de l'Arpont, perched at an altitude of 2 309 metres, is located on the GR5 route. It is located in the territory of the Vanoise National Park, in the heart of its magnificent landscapes. The refuge has been renovated, for those who have already come there, this is worth mentioning. An extension has been added to the old chalets to house the dining room, the kitchen, the guards' accommodation as well as the winter refuge, a drying room, toilets... It should be noted that, as in all shelters, you must be sober with water and electricity. To raise awareness among visitors and with a view to sustainable management, photovoltaic panels and soap/shampoo dispensers have been installed. To access it, from the Châtelard de Termignon car park, it takes about 3 hours to walk and 950 m of altitude difference.
