THE PLATEAU OF MONT-CENIS
Go there and contact
Cross-border area perched at an altitude of 2,082 m, home to alpacists and the many dairy cows in Val-Cenis.
The Mont Cenis plateau is a paradise for sports and outdoor enthusiasts. Cyclists can climb the pass from Val Cenis-Lanslebourg and, for the more courageous, descend to Susa in Italy before climbing back up the steep slopes. The area is ideal for mountain biking and gravel riding, thanks to its former military trails. A "discovery" circuit circles the lake, perfect for trying out on an electrically-assisted mountain bike. On the hiking side, families can explore trails to observe marmots and discover high-altitude lakes.
