ÉGLISE SAINT-MARTIN
Parish church part of the Chemins du baroque® of the Facim Foundation.
Saint-Martin-de-Belleville is a mountain village made up of many hamlets located in the new commune of Belleville. Its parish church was rebuilt in the 17th century and expanded at the same time. It is part of the Baroque Paths® of the Facim Foundation, in particular for the three panels in the first register representing Saint Martin on horseback, Saint Sebastian and Saint Joseph and its ten golden and polychrome columns... but also in the second register, for its high relief representing the Virgin in Assumption carried by angels, and the painting of the Rosary altarpiece... Not to mention the altarpiece of Blessed Paul and his painting.
