The Mottets beach is very popular. Its facilities and equipment make it possible to stop and enjoy a moment of relaxation as well as to go for a walk. The sandy beach is located at the end of a nature reserve between Le Bourget-du-Lac and Aix-les-Bains or the Roselière des Mottets, managed by the Conservatoire d'Espaces Naturels de la Savoie. The area is protected and allows the reintroduction of the European cistude turtle, promoting its reproduction. An educational area has been set up where educational workshops are organised.
