THE DOOR OF HELL
Site with limestone plateaus separated by slopes, picnic area with beach overlooking a lagoon with calm waters.
Between Anse à la Barque and the Grande-Vigie point, here is Anse-Bertrand, otherwise known as the Porte d'Enfer. The site is made up of limestone plateaus separated by slopes, the most important of which corresponds to this West/North-East oriented fault. The waves have carved a corridor in the cliffs: the beach of Porte d'Enfer overlooks a lagoon with calm waters that advances towards the land like a corridor. The calm before the storm where you can settle down for a picnic. Don't forget your hat and sunscreen!

Without stuffing, the enclave that even with a small quiet bay is invaded by an agitated sea, powerful, which is striking with strength with what is called the gates of hell.
The small interior bay is very quiet. A restaurant is found, a path skirts around it and another 11 km starts here. It goes until Campêche by the coast.
