The Port de Jarry/Baie-Mahault is the main seaport of the Guadeloupe archipelago. The port specializes in freight traffic, accounting for 97% of Guadeloupe Port Caraïbes' total traffic. It boasts 9 specialized quays, including a ro-ro quay, as well as modern facilities and state-of-the-art equipment. With a draught of 15 meters, it can accommodate overpanamax vessels. The Port of Jarry/Baie-Mahault is located at the heart of the island's largest industrial-logistics zone. It also boasts a vast zone of free warehouses, an industrial park, an industrial and commercial estate, and a business complex. The port complies with ISPS standards and is fully under video surveillance.
