CHEZ LES COLVIL
The Marie-Galantais will tell you that it is the best table on the island for typical dishes, on Friday evenings from 7pm and on Sundays from 10am to 2pm. The place is without fuss, in the family house, just behind the refrigerated window of the butcher's shop, in a large room between the living room and the kitchen. A warm welcome, on large tables. Apéritif ti-punch de rigueur, followed by a dish of local meats, hot (on Friday evening), cooked in a broth with cabbage and lemon, and served with red pudding and local vegetables. You can also taste the traditional bébélé (Sunday lunchtime). To be enjoyed with lemon and a little pepper. Pleasure and authenticity guaranteed.
