Guided tour of a small family unit to discover how battery syrup is made, store on site.

A guided tour to learn all about the making of battery syrup. The manufacturing process, the transport of raw materials and the main ingredient, sugarcane, are explained on site, as is the bottling of the famous "Le Moysan" battery syrup. This small, family-run sugarcane juice syrup plant is unique in that it transforms bagasse (the waste product of sugarcane production) into 100% natural fuel granules. The syrup is on sale in the store.

Bon accueil, degustation et visite de la fabrique gratuites, plusieurs variétés à base de sirop de batterie à découvrir: petits gâteaux, punch ,..... Bon rapport qualité prix.de plus rien n est jeté car les restes des tiges de cannes une fois le jus est tiré sont transformés en combustibles.
Le sirop de batterie est delicieux, à ne pas manquer si vous visitez Marie Galante.

Une visite indispensable pour connaître le processus de cette fabrication et surtout goûter ce produit qu'il faut ramener
Il s'agit du sucre de canne chauffé : cela à un goût de caramel
Produit utile pour les sportifs car très sucré, il est utilisé pour la confection des gâteaux.
Lors de la visite, tout le monde en prenait.
