BLUE BASIN
Blue pool created by the junction of the Galion and Ravine chaude rivers, with a large natural slide and waterfalls.
Ask the tourist office for directions, as there are virtually no signposts. Don't venture out in the rain! The junction of the Galion and Ravine chaude rivers gives rise to the Bassin Bleu. The water follows a path lined with huge volcanic rocks and lands in a turquoise-blue creek. A large natural slide and waterfalls along the way make this site a small paradise. Swimming is possible at several points along the way. The parking lot is opposite the trailhead.
