A waterfall located in Gourbeyre on the way up the Galion River, the walk takes in the tropical forest as far as the Bassin Bleu.
This waterfall is located in Gourbeyre, still going up the Galion river. You arrive, about 1 hour later, in front of a deep water basin. Its name would come from the shape of its rock eroded by water. This walk allows you to discover the tropical forest up to the Blue Basin. Most of the walk is done in the river bed. A hike to be avoided in rainy weather! Be careful, a landowner now forbids its access through the passage on his land (closed by a gate); a fork in the road is therefore necessary.
