SANCLAIRE BEACH
A beach with a natural feel, ventilated, shaded and equipped with carbets, ideal for a picnic or a family day out.
Easily accessible via the D33, this beach has been landscaped by the ONF and has retained its natural appearance. Located to the south of Goyave, it is stony and sometimes a little overgrown with algae. Quiet, but not very popular for swimming, the beach is ventilated, shaded and equipped with carbets. It's an ideal spot for families to spend a day or a picnic. Nearby excavations have uncovered both pre-Columbian and colonial remains. Be careful, as this is also a place where turtles lay their eggs.
