Marie-Galante's battery syrup is reputed to be excellent, and the Délices de Siblet syrup only confirms this. There are a dozen syrups available in a variety of flavors. Siblet's syrup has a consistent taste from one year to the next, and keeps for a long time. At Patrick Maurin's factory, you can watch the cauldron at work, while learning about the battery syrup-making process. You can also taste the syrup and then make your purchases in the store, where pastries are sometimes available.
