MUSÉE DE LA VIE D'ANTAN
Themed museum offering guided tours to learn more about Guadeloupean society, biennial exhibitions.
At first glance, this museum doesn't look like much, but the guided tours are rich in insights into Guadeloupean society. This themed museum is run by the "Patrimoine et Savoirs" association, created in 1998 at the instigation of historian Raymond Boutin. No permanent exhibition, but biennial exhibitions. One of the exhibitions planned for 2025 will be entitled "Débouya pa péché", (resourcefulness is not a sin). The exhibition will showcase transformed salvaged objects used in everyday life by the elders.
