On leaving the village, opposite the bus stop, a signposted path to the left of the stadium leads to the footpath. You're on the former estate of a sugar factory, closed since the late 1950s, amidst cane fields, mangroves and fruit trees. A stroll through this forested agricultural area, with its pastures and mangroves, takes you along a well-marked trail, perfect for hiking or cycling, alone or with the family. There's also a carbet where you can rest before returning home.
