The city created this local art market in the 90s to promote local crafts with an area of over 200 m2. The place is really dedicated to local production in order to allow artists and craftsmen to make a living from their art. Don't hesitate to go there to help them with your purchases; you won't be disappointed with many discoveries such as unique jewellery, trinkets and sand objects, painted shells, tee-shirts, Creole dolls made of banana leaves...
