CAISSON HYPERBARE

Guadeloupe is a wonderful island for scuba diving. Thousands of divers flock here every year to discover the exceptional seabed of the Caribbean. This growing number of divers in the deep (and not so deep) sea leads to numerous interventions of the rescue services, for small injuries or more serious accidents.
The local infrastructures are modern and the medical staff well trained. There is no problem with safety. The medical center of Pointe-à-Pitre has a very well equipped hyperbaric resuscitation service with a capacity of 8 seats and the possibility to receive a ventilated intubated patient.
Of course, the emergency service is open 24/7.
The presence of this equipment does not exempt us from strictly respecting the safety standards and especially the briefings of the diving directors.
