LE TAMARINIER
Restaurant in the village that offers authentic Creole cuisine at very reasonable prices.
Authentic, original and spicy Creole cuisine is to be found in this restaurant in the village, and at very reasonable prices. The chef offers three menus every day: fish, meat and Creole specialities. For example, coconut chicken, green banana soufflé, colombo de cabri, snapper in dog sauce, ouassous... well prepared local vegetables. The plates are copious. But as with all good things, you have to wait until the dishes are ready and not arrive at 12 o'clock on the dot.

We had been satisfied last year, we are again. Quality is constant.
Deplorable reception under pretext that the restaurant was full, while telling us go see low if not see elsewhere ........ the chef, forced of this reception, nicely served us take-away!
After 15 days in Guadeloupe, it is the only place where we met someone of also unpleasant.
