BWA LANSAN

This association created in 2007 an association guadeloupéenne of discovery and enhancement of regional natural and cultural heritages. It brings together lovers of walking who are interested in Creole culture. Bwa Lansan, one of the first people hiking clubs, offers a variety of activities throughout the year. The section works with a very conscious approach to hiking, followed by a motto from Marcus Garvey ("A man, without knowledge of his past, origin and culture, is like a racines tree"). It borrows from country roads, but also from the streets of historic towns. The sports section of full nature organises courses of kayaking, canyoning, mountain biking and others. This program is a part of typical country activities, such as initiation to traditional shopping, coconut transformation, gwoka, Creole or Indian cuisines… Upcoming events are listed on their website.
