Restaurant with a cuisine based on fishery products on the port in Sainte-Rose.

Located on the old port, the restaurant is upstairs. The cuisine served is based on fish products. Lobsters, ouassous, lambi and chatrou are available in abundance and the local vegetables are cooked in gratins. The plates are very copious, especially the seafood platter (only with prior reservation). It is advisable to make reservations, as the establishment is a well-known local institution. However, on busy days, the wait and the lack of organization of the service are a bit burdensome.

Un goût de "reviens-y"
Le cadre est sympa tout comme l'a été le service à midi, 3 tables occupées avec la nôtre. Poissons frais et bien cuisinés, que demander de mieux au port de pêche..

Arrivé à 20h30 pour une réservation de 5 personnes le samedi 28 février 2016. La commande de notre table est prise à 21h30. La serveuse nous annonce 1h d'attente pour le service du repas, les entrées devant êtres plus rapides, on reçoit les aperitifs au bout de 10min, puis plus aucune nouvelle. 22h45 nous interpellons la serveuse aimablement, et nous lui demandons d'annuler nos commandes, si les entrées ne sont pas encore prêtes, elle part vérifier en cuisine. 23h soit 15min plutard, elle revient avec 2 entrées sur 4 incomplètes, en plus elle soffusque qu'̀on lui fasse remarquer que l'assiette du pêcheur comporte également des crevettes qui n'ont pas été servit. Le responsable observe notre table et constate notre impatience et notre mécontentement (zéro excuse, zéro nous sommes désolés, et enfin en caisse Monsieur soulève nos billets sortis du distributeur à la lumière pour vérifier que se ne sont pas des faux). Seul point positif la qualité du repas. Mais quand vous prenez 4 menus à 59 euros et que vous êtes servis 2h30 après votre commande, vous ne pouvez en aucun cas apprécier ces plats à leur juste valeur. Si vous ne souhaitez pas gâcher une soirée passer votre chemin.
P.S.: nous étions venu célébrer 20ans de mariages, dites nous à quelle moment on prend le champagne?

The food is good but the service can be extremely long when there is world. The owner has a rather dubious humour and never hesitate with engueuler its employees in front of you.
Super! very good cuisine, quality welcome. Taste the lobster with butter sea urchin...restaurant not to be missed!
