DISTILLERIE BONNE MÈRE
Distillery with a large ageing cellar, producing aged rums and spirits made from sugarcane molasses.
The Bonne Mère distillery produces traditional industrial rums. Its factory closed in 1973, but the distillery is still in operation today. It is also the distillery which has the largest ageing cellar for the production of old rums. It markets PAP and Fajou rums, as well as alcohols produced from sugar cane molasses. This molasses comes from the Gardel sugar refineries in Le Moule in the north of Grande-Terre and from the Grande-Anse refinery on the island of Marie-Galante.
