Archaeological park linked to the history of the pre-Columbian Antilles, with inscriptions engraved on rocks by the Arawak Indians.
Inscriptions probably engraved by the Arawak Indians in the 3rd or 4thcentury AD were discovered on rocks in the early 19th century. Classified as a historic monument, the site is important for the history of the pre-Columbian Antilles. The work will involve a new public reception building, including an exhibition and play area, a store, a catering area and a multi-purpose room for conferences.

I made a visit partial of this park on March 22nd, 2012. The entrance is free because the works in progress do not allow you to visit all the park. Visits are guided (and also free) by a young very interesting guide. Only a few engraved rocks are visible but you could explore many trees and fruit characteristic of the island and explanations on their use. The work should be completed here a few months but no date is scheduled. Visits will become paying then and there will be no more guide!
