This beach is located in the small, authentic and peaceful village of Vieux-Habitants. Its coastline is made up of grey volcanic sand and pebbles. The commune has laid out a path for striding along the beach if you wish, and carbets for picnicking in the shade. It's probably not the most pleasant beach for swimming, but it's still very convenient for relaxing before or after lunch, as there are several restaurants on the beach. They offer Creole specialities.
