A must for excellent home-cooked Caribbean and Haitian cuisine. The restaurant moved after the covid to a splendid renovated Creole mansion with terrace, located on Avenue de la Liberté. Here you'll find local dishes such as fricassées de cochon bois, iguana or gambas au lait de coco. The flavors are local, spicy and in a pretty setting. Takeaway dishes are also available. Please allow a certain amount of time for your dishes, as this adds a touch of authenticity... But above all, it's a guarantee of quality!

Si vous avez 2h30 à perdre c'est parfait.
1h pour avoir le menu, 45 minutes plus tard les plats arrivent ...
10 minutes pour manger, 20 minutes pour payer ....
C'est vraiment la soupe à la grimace.
Si non c'est copieux, et le personnel garde le sourire.

2h00 pour 1 ti punch (bien), 1 jus cupuaçu (fermenté, signalé mais sans aucun effet..., à 6,50€, quand même) et 2 soupes "créoles" (du chou à outrance, 3 morceaux de queue de cochon, beaucoup de poivre et de citron, 1/2 navet et 1/2 PDTerre) : 40€.

ATTENTION, nouvelle adresse : 40 av de la liberté, dans la superbe maison créole où il y avait le glacier.
Le cadre est superbe, avec patio ou salle climatisée.
Le service parfait !
Et l'essentiel : les plats sont succulents : spécialités haïtiennes, gibier local, salades originales, boudin créole, marinades, etc. et tout est bien copieux !
Il faut compter environ 20€ pour un plat, 8€ à 20€ pour une entrée, très bon rapport qualité-prix.
Allez-y les yeux fermés !!!!
