A beautiful blue Creole house dating from 1842, which houses the municipal library and a museum with collections on Guiana's fauna, history, peoples and crafts. Not forgetting the string of paintings by former convict Francis Lagrange. This heritage building, which was in critical condition, was selected by the Mission Patrimoine 2021 (led by the French Ministry of Culture and FDJ) and has been restored from top to bottom.
