CHURCH
Abbey church dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption, remodeled three times, explaining the various types of vaults associated.
The abbey church, dedicated to Notre Dame de l'Assomption, is one of the few to preserve 11th century Romanesque features such as the chevet, with its axial chapel and two absidioles. It was reworked three times - 11th, 15th and 18th centuries - which explains the various types of vaults associated with it. The façade dates back to the 18th century; behind the pulpit there is a 15th century wooden christ and above the high altar, a carved and gilded canopy. The bell tower (29 m) was rebuilt in 1298, its bell tower was added in 1815. The southern part of the St. Gausbert cloister was destroyed in 1867 when the presbytery was enlarged. The small square garden is reminiscent of medieval gardens. It is closed to the south by the monks' refectory, topped by an ogival vault.
