Municipal carbet with rooms for hammocks and bedrooms in the adjoining apartment.
Carbet Eloi is Grand-Santi's municipal carbet. Built in hardstandings just across the river, it is well ventilated and features two hammock rooms on either side of the kitchen and communal toilet block. It's also possible to rent a room (or rooms) in the large adjoining apartment, which has five bedrooms (three of which are air-conditioned), a kitchen and a communal lounge. Getting the keys, however, can be a bit of a treasure hunt: if they're not at the town hall, look for Pauline, who runs a bar in the village.
