Iracoubo, French Guiana, is home to the Bonne Semence organic farm. This year-round farm produces local, seasonal fruits and vegetables such as avocado, parépou, coconut, lemon, pitaya, papaya, pomme-rosa and abriba. Inspired by permaculture and agro-ecology, the farm cultivates with respect for the earth and the environment. In addition to agricultural production, the farm offers a self-catering cottage where visitors can sample the farm's products. The Bonne Semence organic farm is also a place of conviviality and solidarity. The farm is self-sufficient in food and energy thanks to its fruit trees, photovoltaic solar panels, rainwater tanks and use of natural inputs.
