The site, located on the grounds of the Centre Spatial (CSG) and maintained by the ONF, is magnificent. You can choose between the botanical trail, a loop of around 650 m, or the more challenging 3.3 km trail over the summit of Montagne des Singes: the sentier de la Montagne. From here, you have a magnificent viewpoint, not to mention the diversity of the environments traversed. There's a carbet under which you can picnic and stretch out your hammock. The paths are easy to follow, but it's best to stay on them. Stay safe and enjoy!

site bien aménagé. Depuis le parking, deux parcours distincts : le sentier botanique de 800 mètres. Environ 40 minutes avec quelques panneaux explicatifs sur la flore. Agréable mais néanmoins déjà pentu et sportif... tenir compte de la chaleur et de l'humidité et na pas oublier eau et biscuits. Le sentier de randonnée est encore plus difficile d'autant qu'il n'y a pas de panneaux indiquant où vous vous situez. Passage extrêmement pentu. A déconseiller aux familles ou personnes fragiles. Après 45 minutes d'efforts "coupe pattes", je me suis arrêté au carbet du point de vue avant de redescendre. On m'avait annoncé un beau panorama sur le centre spatial que l'on distingue en réalité d'assez loin. Donc un peu décevant. En définitive, le parcours botanique suffit amplement sauf peut être aux randonneurs accomplis

Plusieurs parcours possibles au départ de ce sentier. Lors de votre arrivée au carbet situé sur le plateau, une vue magnifique s'offre à vous sur Kourou et les iles du salut.
Le sentier est très bien balisé et convient parfaitement à des novices pour une ballade en forêt guyanaise. Pensez à vous munir de quoi se désaltérer, vous ne trouverez rien sur le parcours

Une belle balade, courte mais pentue. On découvre une magnifique forêt sur un sentier balisé, ce qui facilite la découverte pour un néophyte en Guyane. La vue est magnifique et le bruit des insectes fascinant. On en prend plein les yeux.

It is advisable to say the ascent can be done by a path runs (0.8 km) and very steep, or by a long trail (3.6 km) which is famous easier but still requires good physical shape considering the slope (stairs) and humid heat of the forest. You are in Guiana and this comment is valid for the trails in the forest. When you are obliged to give up, however, you can do without risk the loop of the botanical trail with its morphos.
