Less than an hour's pirogue ride from Maripasoula during the rainy season, Juliette, a native of the region, welcomes you to an enchanting site. Created with respect for local architectural traditions, Tolenga Lodge offers several bungalows, a relaxing bar and a restaurant with a capacity of 30 people. Excursions and activities are included in the price: fishing, visits to Amerindian villages such as Twenké-Taluen, discoveries of historic sites, hiking, pirogue rides and, of course, swimming are all on offer. Based on the principle of agrotourism, you'll find a huge chicken coop, numerous geese, a turtle park, an agami and parrots, as well as dogs and cats. A large nursery allows the lady of the house to concoct delicious Guianese dishes, and children can play hide-and-seek in the banana plantation!

Tout contribue ici à un séjour exceptionnel. A commencer par le trajet pour s'y rendre depuis Maipasoula, (en pirogue), s'ajoute ensuite l'arrivée, le cadre, le confort de l'hébergement, la très grande disponibilité de l'équipe qui gère le lieu, prête à répondre à toutes les demandes d' excursions, de jour comme de nuit. Grand bravo aussi à Juliette, qui tient le Tolenga Lodge, qui par sa disponibilité, sa gentillesse, son énergie, sa connaissance parfaite de la forêt et du grand Inini, nous fait vraiment ressentir la magie du lieu.

if you dream of nature, calm and enchanting landscapes then go to TOLENGA LODGE. And you to say reception if that it is landscapes met. We spent a week in this place where the natural word in all its splendour. Very pleasant, excursions are according to our physical capacity to do them. In other words, there is something for all tastes and ages. The food is good and hearty and bungalows are spacious and beautifully decorated.
