In Mourjou, in the heart of the Cantalien chestnut grove, this tasty fruit is celebrated with 80 exhibitors and various activities.
The chestnut fair attracts more than 20,000 people, 2 tons of roasted chestnuts and nearly 5,000 liters of cider await them in a festive and friendly atmosphere. This great festival mobilizes for its organization more than half of the local population. It is organized around a chestnut market that brings together more than 80 exhibitors from a dozen departments of chestnut growing and a program of varied activities: conferences, demonstrations, exhibitions, walks, stories, shows, games, concerts, dances, tastings.
