Immersion in one of the last family distilleries with a unique terroir, known for its "zépol karé" bottle.

Created in 1932, the Neisson Distillery is one of the last family distilleries in Martinique to grow its own sugar cane. The volcanic soil on which the cane grows is undoubtedly the factor that gives such a particular flavor to its rums. White rum lovers claim that the “zepol karé” is the best and smoothest on the island. In addition to the world's first organic A.O.C. agricultural rum, Neisson has just launched the “Nonaginta” vintage, a blend of rums aged in 2004, 2000 and 1997. Explanatory visit on site.

Petite distillerie qui ne paye pas de mine, mais probablement le meilleur rhum blanc de Martinique,....Et d'ailleurs...
A noté qu'ils font, pour les aventuriers, un rhum blanc a 70° ... Faire attention quand même...

On peut faire sa visite soit même en y prenant son temps, ce qui est bien appréciable Entrez par un grand portail en fer forgé NEISSON, longez les plantations de canne à sucre et ensuite lisez les panneaux explicatifs. De belles bouteilles vous attendent à la boutique. Meilleur rhum de l'île, la distillerie Neisson n'a pas vendu son âme à de grands groupes, cela devient rare de nos jours

Surement le meilleur rhum de Martinique. Visite libre. A voir uniquement en route lors d'une ballade dans le nord : 1/2 h max sur place suffit. Intéressant a voir surtout le matin pendant la saison de la coupe de la canne quand l'usine fonctionne. Et encore, on reste à l'extérieur des bâtiments. Quelques panneaux explicatifs.
