Michel Bally lives alone on Chancel Island. He wanted to share this amazing place in this completely atypical excursion: the visit of the islet by horse-drawn carriage, commented by himself.
Departure for the island from the port of Le Robert; Michel Bally comes to pick you up personally with his loyal mount, named Colibrette! Everyone climbs aboard the carriage, then you're off for a 2h30 ride at the rhythm of the horse.

Sortie incontournable. Le lieu est tout simplement magique, hors du temps avec un panel de paysages à couper le souffle. La nature est omniprésente sous toutes ses formes, un régal pour tous les sens. Une visite en dehors des sentiers battus. J'ai même eu le privilège de visiter l'île en tête à tête avec Michel qui est très accueillant et qui pour l'occasion a improvisé un déjeuner. Royal. Tout était parfait. A refaire sans aucun doute et à faire découvrir incontestablement !

Je recommande vivement cette balade en calèche !! L'îlet Chancel est un endroit vraiment magnifique avec des points de vue époustouflants, un vrai décor de carte postale !! Sans oublier les iguanes, ces animaux qui ont l'air de sortir de la préhistoire !! Mr Bally raconte merveilleusement bien l'histoire de son îlet, avec des anecdotes passionnantes !! Dépaysement garanti, vous repartirez à coup sûre avec des images pleins la tête !! Merci à Mr Bally pour son accueil toujours chaleureux, pour sa sympathie et pour le partage de ses connaissances !!

Walk that I could do on the Chancel Islet was a pure happiness. It was a pleasure of being able to discover the beautiful scenery, the vegetation flamboyant around us everything in a horse-drawn carriage with a horse that you quickly takes in affection marks. I really recommend you to make this walk if you come to Martinique, you won't be disappointed and you will have a good memory.

We lived a few years in Martinique and we had had opportunity moor in the Chancel islet, to wander along the ruins then leave to another islet. A beautiful sightseeing in an extraordinary landscape. This time, it was no longer the same thing, it was personal welcome from the owner, one of these privileged moments where you are invited by a friend ready to share with you the best of its environment. Indeed, the way in which Michel Bally makes you discover his wonderful islet, quiet step of his horse, gives the impression of real hospitality which gives meaning to the expression of the guest who welcomes you: “you are here at home”. With him, time has a break, calm, invades the magnificence of the site fills you. A few hours when the life and the beauty of the world are enjoyed.
