Visit the Murat deportees' memorial, bearing witness to the tragic history of the people of Murat.

This memorial perpetuates the memory of the 121 people from Murat arrested in June 1944, then deported to the Neuengamme camp, in northern Germany. Very moving, the visit takes you to the heart of the turmoil, in direct contact with history. You will relive step by step the Resistance, the Deportation, the survival in the camps... to better understand a city marked forever by this tragedy. A parenthesis in your stay, but a necessary step against oblivion.
