Originally from Cilaos, Auntie Rosine has long travelled the markets of the west and south coast. Now that she has her own shop on the main street, her reputation has followed her. As soon as it opens, hikers flock there to find the sweet reward for their future efforts. First come, first served. The cakes go very quickly: go there before 10 am. What makes the cakes original? They are "milk-free, gluten-free and butter-free". The usual trio is replaced by manioc, sweet potato or ti son, it's original and especially very good.

Je suis extrêmement déçu de mon passage chez Tatie Rosine. L’accueil a été non seulement froid, mais la personne en charge n’a pas hésité à parler mal aux clients, moi y compris. Une attitude méprisante et irrespectueuse qui est totalement inacceptable. Il est évident que le respect et la politesse ne font pas partie des valeurs de cet établissement. Une expérience désastreuse, je déconseille fortement à quiconque de s’y rendre.
