A historical monument, this typical Creole house was built entirely out of wood in 1925. It belonged to Doctor Léopold Martin who dreamed of an exceptional place. The villa consists of 24 rooms and different entrances according to the social class of the guests. Upon his death, the house was sold to the Valliamé family. Of Indian origin, she gave this house a new soul with Hindu decoration and Tamil ceremonies. Today it is the seat of the tourist office of Saint-André.
