This covered market, located in the heart of the city and closed since the 1980s, reopened its doors in 2014 after a complete renovation. It will have celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2024! It features seven shacks dedicated to the sale of local and artisanal (genuinely made in La Réunion) quality products. You're sure to find a little "Made by Reunion" souvenir, certified by this label created by the Chamber of Trades to promote local crafts: musical instruments, ceramics, weaving... The place brings together some of Reunion's finest know-how.

Exemple j'ai acheté à la boutique "ilet gourmand" un pot de Massalé de 100 g payé 8,35 contre 6,50 les 40 g au "Jardin des Epices" de Saint Philippe, même comparaison pour " l'hydrolat" produit totalement identique, même producteur, même quantité, payé plus du double au jardin des épices !!
Autre boutique achat de bijou, tarif également très raisonnable
