Situated on the seafront, it is the busiest (and most crowded) market on the island. Craftsmen and farmers come from all over the island to sell local products, fruits, vegetables, samoussas, cakes (potato, chouchou...), fish, etc... You will also find clothes, baskets, jewellery, trinkets and even instruments such as kayamb. We advise you to come early on Friday to take advantage of the morning wind and avoid the crowd.

Ideal opportunity to visit Saint-Paul. The atmosphere is always and the stalls are full walkers, tourists and locals. A comprehensive overview of the diversity of the fruit and vegetables that you can find on the island but also crafts and the people. A great stopover.

Le marché de Saint Paul est le plus beau que j'ai vu.
Tellement de couleurs, de senteurs, de gouts ...
Le vendredi matin c'était mon rdv à Saint Paul
A voir pour acheter ses souvenirs
It is a nice place... even for the buildings. The market sells tourist products (some Malagasy products are sold... for lovers).
Fruit and vegetables galore...
Bring a hat and especially, dignified suffering... jams.
If you like met crowds island, it is here that it is necessary to get there!
