It is one of the largest in the Indian Ocean and can accommodate up to 1,800 worshippers. Inaugurated in 1975, a Sunni Islam of Hanafite rite is practiced there. You will admire in particular the wouzou khana, the place of purification: hands, face, arms and feet are washed up to the ankles. White coats await on the first floor for those who have not hidden their knees and shoulders. Green dominates the floor, the colour of paradise, while the rich woods of the walls give this beautiful building an atmosphere of solemn meditation.

On ne peut pas la visiter en période de Covid-19 ...
L'architecture est originale car il y a des boutiques de vêtements dans le bâtiment, qui encadrent l'entrée.

De religeon catholique, nous avons pu faire découvrir ce lieu religieux à nos 2 enfants (7 et 10 ans). J'avoue, nous aussi, c'était une découverte.
Respecter le lieu au moment de la visite (habit, sans chaussures). Acceuilli à bras ouvert, découvrir leurs habitudes de prière, découvrir également le rituel avant de prier (lavage mains, pieds, nez, oreilles, yeux...)
Les enfants ont apprécié et sont repartis avec un cadeau suite à une question... je ne vous en dis pas plus, à découvrir. Très riche en émotion.
