A prolific Artist, Charly Lesquelin sings (leader of the music group Gondwana) and painted his island in front of you, in his studio of the port of Saint-Pierre that he will be delighted to have you visit (before 2009, to see him, you have to climb up to his home, to Aux - his admirers are therefore delighted with this move!). It expresses itself most often by playing between warm and cold colors, in a very figurative way, sometimes on canvas, other times on these old newspapers which line the old-age plate of the old squares. Landscapes, scenes of everyday life, portraits… The art of Lesquelin is impregnated with the forms and eyes of its island; he became a major réunion painter and regularly exhibited in France and the rest of the world.
