A family business founded in 1907, the Chatel distillery strives to sublimate and make people discover the plant resources of Reunion Island through a wide range of rum-based products, enhanced by the unique know-how of Alain Chatel, grandson of the founder. If it has established itself as the historical reference in terms of punches and liqueurs, the company has extended its offer to cocktails, arranged, spiced and flavoured rums. Chatel has even produced from cane alcohol the first brand of Réunionese vodka, now the market leader.

Un peu perdue dans la zone indus de l'aéroport la boutique Chatel n'est de toute évidence pas l'incontournable des vacances pour de nombreux touristes... C'est bien dommage !!!
Accueil excellent et très chaleureux
Possibilité de goûter à un vaste choix de produits de qualité tous vendus à prix très sages.
Nous avons passé un excellent moment loin des "attrape touristes" habituels.
