A family business founded in 1907, the Chatel distillery strives to sublimate and make people discover the plant resources of Reunion Island through a wide range of rum-based products, enhanced by the unique know-how of Alain Chatel, grandson of the founder. If it has established itself as the historical reference in terms of punches and liqueurs, the company has extended its offer to cocktails, arranged, spiced and flavoured rums. Chatel has even produced from cane alcohol the first brand of Réunionese vodka, now the market leader.
