A spiral staircase leads up to the restaurant, set in an astonishing series of wave-modeled coastal caves 25 meters below ground level. The cuisine is classic (fried calamari, tacos, various salads...) and good, the décor and service sophisticated, but the musical atmosphere (orchestra and dancing) is a little impersonal. Nevertheless, it's one of the tourist musts. El Meson de la Cava also offers special menus and meals on Sundays, an interesting wine list and attentive service.
