For a week, Santo-Domingo becomes a real open-air dance floor! Music and dance to be admired live!
The month of July also has its share of celebrations: the streets of the capital of the Dominican Republic are transformed into open-air dance floors! The Merengue Festival animates all Dominicans from 7 to 77 years old, each one giving the best of himself to honour the dance in the purest Dominican style. During one week, concerts are assured everywhere, as well as all kinds of animations more festive the ones than the others. Markets, typical food stalls, music and dancing galore!
