Every Friday, the Haitian market brings an artery just outside the city to a standstill for the whole day. Here you'll find all sorts of second-hand clothes, shoes and other very cheap products, the provenance of which is not always known, but which you can easily assume come from international organizations or are products smuggled out of the free trade zones... Some good bargains to be had here (don't hesitate to bargain, Haitians understand French), while enjoying the pleasant and somewhat frenetic popular atmosphere.
