CLUB ONNO’S

The speakers at the Altos de Chavón nightclub alternate between merengue and international rock, with a predilection for the latter, given the clientele mainly drawn from the neighboring complex. The place is pleasant, but the atmosphere is a little conventional. There's much more fun to be had at the local discos in downtown La Romana. During the week, the club doubles as a restaurant, serving a variety of Dominican tapas, burgers and baguette sandwiches, Mexican dishes, pasta plates and grilled meats.
