This is an unpretentious hotel in a high building with a salmon-colored façade. It is strategically located, a five-minute walk from the central park and a dozen minutes from the malecón. Like the city's airport, it is named after the great 1940s Hollywood actress María Montez, who was born in Barahona. The hotel offers very simple, but clean and quiet rooms with hot water in the bathroom. It also has a Creole cuisine restaurant, nestled on the ground floor. Correct.
