CHEERFUL STONE FARM
A farm where you can discover the life of Margeride farmers 150 years ago.
This 19th century building is listed in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments. It shows the life of the peasants of Margeride, 150 years ago. Nothing has changed, from the common room with its inglenook, through the bedroom and the cowshed. On Wednesdays in July and August, the making of bread and brioches baked over a wood fire is a delight. Other activities await you there. Pierre Allègre's farm is part of the Margeride ecomuseum with the Saint-Martin garden and the Signalauze school located in Ruynes-en-Margeride.
