Observe the most beautiful aquatic birds of the Dominican Republic! It is the largest saltwater lagoon in the country, it consists of more than 40 islands, inhabited by herons, terns, golden spoonbills, frigates, egrets, pelicans, not to mention flamingos, but also iguanas, rhinoceroses and even alligators. You can walk in the salt desert. From its vantage point, don't miss the dazzling panoramic view of the lagoon, encircled on one side by the Caribbean Sea and on the other by the Sierra de Bahoruco.
